Following his apprenticeship, the trained chef worked for four years on Majorca, where he not only got to know and love Mediterranean cuisine, but has since also learnt how to speak fluent Spanish.
He completed his training as master chef in 2006.The master chef Christian Schneider fulfilled his dream of opening his own restaurant in 2007.The Loup de mer has won national acclaim as a pure fish and seafood speciality restaurant and has been listed among the best 500 restaurants in Germany. It had to close in the summer 2009 because of a building site.Christian Schneider opened the restaurant "Schneiders" in Emmelshausen with his wife Maike Bohlmann-Schneider shortly afterwards, which soon became a very well-respected venue in the region.
Mr Schneider hung up his apron in the summer of 2016 to join his brother's firm. Here, he has been dealing with the strategy for PS Trade as an international trading company.
